N64 Myth Review
58N64 Myth
The N64 Myth is the first backup device in a very long time. It was developed by the Neoflash Team and is used with the N64 console. It's the first backup device since Mr. Backup Z64 and CD64 Plus. This cartridge is awesome. This cartridge let's you play any game downloaded for the N64 and play them on the cartridge.
What's in the Package
The cartridge includes a 512Mbit (64MB) NEO2 cartridge as standard, which allows it to store one 512Mbit ROM, or two 256Mbit or smaller ROM’s. It also includes a small switch located on the top which is used to swap between two different stored ROM files, although the N64 console must be turned off before this switch can be used. You can now purchace NEO2-SD cartridge which can be used to store mass storage, so no more switching between two games.

Is it worth it?
In my opinion I believe this cartridge is worth it. I have been able to play all my games perfectly that I downloaded without a problem. Some games require an expansion pack so be sure you have one of those. If not they can be purchaced very cheaply on amazon. The only downside of this cartridge is that it costs $199 and $89 for the optional NEO-2 SD. That may throw a lot of people off, but when you think about when trying to search all your favorite games and buying them on the nintendo wii virtual console You're looking to spen over $200 as with this you can have them all for free. If you have the money and love your N64 go for it. If you only like 10 games for the N64 then don't bother. Watch my video of me playing some games.
